Nathan >> Biography
Not many actors can say that they made their first appearance on stage while still in their mothers womb, as is the case of twelve-year-old Nathan Gamble:
Born in Tacoma, Washington on January 12, 1998, Nathan has been exposed to theater all his life. Both his parents are theater directors, and his mother, Christie Gamble, was cast in the production "Scrooge" while eight months pregnant with Nathan. They also run run a drama camp for kids, which Nathan joined at the tender age of five.
Since 2006, Nathan has been working non-stop. He first booked a regular role, playing Tommy Rader, in the CWs show "Runaway". Then, when the Gambles heard about the nationwide search for a kid to play the son of Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett, they decided to let Nathan audition. He beat out 20.000 other children, and thats how he booked the role of Mike Jones and his first feature film, "Babel", which he got to film in Mexico.
Next for Nathan was the major motion picture, "The Mist", based on the novel by Stephen King, "The Dark Knight", which was the sequel of the box office hit "Batman Begins", and "Marley and Me", based on the book by John Grogan, in which he got to play the son of Owen Wilson and Jennifer Aniston. He also spent a few months in Vancouver, Canada, filming "The Hole", a 3D movie directed by Joe Dante. Nathan is currently filming "Dolphin Tale" alongside Morgan Freeman and Ashley Judd. The movie is set to hit theatres in September 2011.
Nathan has not only had a successful film career, but also a television one. He has guest starred in hit TV shows such as "CSI", "Without a Trace", "House M.D", "Private Practice" and "Ghost Whisperer", and he recently got to appear in Disneys show "Good Luck Charlie".
Even though he has a ton of credits in his name and has worked with some of the biggest names in Hollywood, when Nathan is not working, he resides in Tacoma, Washington, with his parents and two sisters and just enjoys being a kid.
