The Dark Knight

I hope everyone is going to see 'The Dark Knight'. It's getting great reviews and Nathan has a great scene at the end! You may have noticed that he did not attend the New York premiere, this was because he was filming Captain Cook's Extraordinary Atlas. He appears to be home now though and recently attended a small premiere of The Dark Knight with his friends up in Auburn. There's a small article about it here with a lovely picture of Nathan with a comb-over. Too cute! See it on our gallery here cute

Next, The Futon Critic did a 'rant and review' on the pilot script of '' which you can read here. The show should be really interesting. smile

Finally I came across this review of 'The Mist' and just had to post what the poster had to say about Nathan because it's just so nice and I love seeing other people appreciate Nathan's natural talent...

"The acting was pretty good, especially by Nathan Gamble, the protagonist’s little boy. He plays it perfectly and movingly, as a scared little kid who cries and sucks his thumb. He can’t let go of his father. The boy lent real emotion and urgency to the situation the town folks found themselves in."

Sorry for the lack of updates. I've been away and unable to update. Anyways just a note to get out and go see The Dark Knight. Although Nathan's part is small the movie is going to be awesome go go see it now! tongue

New Article

With the release of 'The Mist' in the UK various articles about it have been popping up including one about Nathan entitled "Nathan nearly became cookie monster'. I think it's from one of those trashy newspapers but it's cute all the same. Check it out here.

As far as I can tell it's looking like The Mist is going to be released in cinema theatres in the UK and Ireland this Friday. Check out your local theatres for times etc and be sure to go check out the film and suppost Nathan! All American site visitors can rent or buy the film now! smile

Marley and Me

I've just added a gorgeous new photo of Nathan and co-star Owen Wilson from behind the scenes of Marley and Me to the gallery. Be sure to check it out! Also incase you hadn't seen it, the teaser trailer for Marley and Me has been released. Although Nathan isn't in it (it's only the teaser after all) it is the cutest thing I've seen in a long time and recommend you watching it here!
I also came across this teeny little review of 'Dry Rain' from someone who saw the film up at SIFF and just thought I'd post it. I'm especially liking the last line! grin

“A timely piece. Great acting, cinematography and dialogue. The young boy lead is terrific.”

New Layout

Posted by Emer on the 26 Jun 2008 • 1 Comments

As you can see we have a gorgeous new layout made by my talented friend Katya featuring pictures of Nathan way back in 2006 at the Toronto Film Festival. Isn't he just cute as a button? cute I hope you like the layout as much as I do!

Also, I unfortunately had to take down all the behind the scenes pictures from Dry Rain but you can see them all over the the films official blog. The link is in the 'current projects'.

Back!

Posted by Emer on the 21 Jun 2008 • 0 Comments

I'm finally back and can start off updating with some great news! Nathan has booked a new TV series! He'll star alongside teen actress Jodelle Ferland in ABC's "Atlas".

Described as "Harry Potter" meets "Pan's Labyrinth," "Atlas," centers on Gwen (Ferland), an adventurous young girl who finds a magical atlas that reveals a secret world underneath ours.

Find out more here. Check back for updates, I'll be getting on top of everything the next few days!

Going away...

Posted by Emer on the 29 May 2008 • 1 Comments

I'm going to be away for the next few weeks and so the site will not be updated. However once I get back it'll be near to the time when 'The Dark Knight' will be premiering so we are sure to get new pictures and news on Nathan. Until then keep a look out on the 'Dry Rain' (which will be showing tomorrow in Seattle!) and the 'Marley and Me' blogs for updates on Nathan's films. The tagboard is down until I get back as we were getting quite a bit of spam and I don't want anything unsuitable on the site. It'll be back up when I return. Until then, bye! smile

New Picture

Posted by Emer on the 26 May 2008 • 0 Comments

Just added a few random new pictures, 2 are from the 'Marley and Me' set on the 16th, 2 are old magazine scans from around the time of Runaway and one is a gorgeous picture from the set of 'Dry Rain'. You've got to check it out, it's beautiful. Remember Dry Rain is premiering this week at the SIFF, so if you're in the Seattle area be sure to go see it. For more info check out the offcial Dry Rain Blog here. Someone already got the opportunity to see it and here's what she said...

"One of the better locally produced shorts in the festival, Matthew J. Clark's Dry Rain is in...it's about a noncustodial parent (James Le Gros) spiriting his unusually bright kid (Tacoma native Nathan Gamble) across the Canadian Border for a "vacation." The acting is great, and the little prodigy isn't even annoying"

Marley and Me: On Set

Posted by Emer on the 17 May 2008 • 5 Comments

Looks like Nathan's over in PA filming 'Marley and Me' because some set pictures have popped up! I've just added 12 pictures of Nathan and co-stars Jennifer Aniston and Owen Wilson from yesterday to the gallery. Looks like fun, plying in snow in May! Be sure to check them out.
